Ice magic starts the new season on Sunday

On Sunday, November 10, the Ice Magic in the Volksgarten starts this year. Young and young-at-heart ice skating fans can enjoy the 330-meter-long outdoor circuit until 16 February - this is already the fifth season of the open-air experience.

A total of 1,700 square meters of ice surface are available to skaters. Around 100 illuminated Christmas trees along the circuit create a unique atmosphere, especially in the evening and after dark. The Eiszauber will be open daily from next Sunday.

"Thanks to the excellent work of the team and the already relatively low temperatures, we can open the Eiszauber earlier than ever before this year. I am particularly pleased that we are making this popular leisure and exercise facility available to the people of Salzburg so early," says an enthusiastic Florian Kreibich, Deputy Mayor. There will be no increase in admission prices this year.

"Our team has done a great job and made the early start of the Ice Magic possible. This means we can offer Salzburgers and our guests a longer Ice Magic season," says a delighted Roland Oberhauser, Head of Municipal Operations.
