Cell phone store was visited by nocturnal customers

They were in a hurry and only took high-priced cell phones such as iPhones and the latest Samsung models. The damage is extensive. 

The alarm system was ringing, but there are only a few apartments in the vicinity and they are quite a distance away. That's why no neighbors noticed when a cell phone store in Neusiedl am See got "customers" at night.

Then came the shock in the morning: a smashed door, broken glass everywhere, cables hanging out. "Only the high-priced iPhones and Samsung cell phones were taken," explains employee Jennifer Hofer. "The accessories were not touched by the burglars. It took her and her boss the whole morning to clear up the mess, at least a little. The door was provisionally sealed again by a company.

There is video footage of the break-in. Two masked individuals had gained unauthorized access and had to get to work quickly because the alarm system was blaring. One of them brutally ripped the cell phones out of the fuses, the other cut the cables. "However, these are only display devices. They all only have a demo version." The security precautions are now being increased even further. The police are investigating at full speed.
