Bouncer attacked 28-year-old with a knife

A bar bouncer in Ried reached for a knife after he returned to the bar and began to argue. The 28-year-old, who had incurred the Romanian's wrath, was only just able to defend himself with a bar stool.

A 45-year-old Romanian from Ried went crazy in a nightclub in Ried at 3.15 am - and grabbed a knife to attack a man from Salzburg (28). The 28-year-old was able to fend off the attack with the help of a bar stool.

Before the attack, the Romanian had already left the bar - without paying - but then returned and insulted the younger man before attacking him with the knife. The man was able to fend off the attack with a bar stool while a customer called the police.

Girlfriend also under suspicion
When the 45-year-old noticed this, he fled in his vehicle. Half an hour later, the police rang the suspect's address and he answered the door. Both the 45-year-old and his 35-year-old Romanian partner, who was also present in the pub at the time of the knife attack, were arrested. After questioning, the woman was allowed to leave, her husband was taken to prison.
