Eva Pinkelnig and Palmers – a “perfect match”

Women's ski jumping and lingerie don't go together? Surely they do! ÖSV high-flyer Eva Pinkelnig and Viennese lingerie manufacturer Palmers will be working together in the future. A great thing, according to "Krone Vorarlberg" sports boss Peter Weihs.

Congratulations to the traditional Viennese company Palmers and especially to CEO Janis Jung! The 32-year-old is said to be responsible for the fact that the lingerie manufacturer, founded in 1915, has signed a multi-year contract with ski jumper Eva Pinkelnig and that she will be jumping with a green helmet and Palmers lettering - including a little crown - from now on.

Ski jumping and underwear? A combination that doesn't work? In the case of Pinkelnig and Palmers, it's actually a "perfect match". The power woman from the Ländle region, who has been fighting for more recognition for her female colleagues and her sport for years, fits perfectly into the Viennese company's "End of Sorry" campaign.

A campaign that encourages all women to stop apologizing for their actions, their character, their emotions or their looks and instead celebrate and crown themselves.

The only downer: Disney snowman Olaf no longer has a place on Eva's new helmet...
