A truck loaded with salt caught fire in the municipality of Gosau (Upper Austria) on Monday evening. Four fire departments from the surrounding area arrived to extinguish the flames and prevent environmental pollution.

It is still unclear how the fire started, but the truck was on fire at around 5.15 pm on Monday in the municipality of Gosau. The driver was able to save himself in time and escape from the burning truck.

In the end, four fire departments were deployed on site to extinguish the fire and prevent any environmental hazards from leaking operating fluids and fuels. The salvage and clean-up work lasted well into the night.
