Collision in the district of Murau caused two injuries

On Friday at 1.15 pm there was a collision in Sankt Georgen am Kreischberg (Murau district): A 20-year-old skidded in his car and collided with the car of a 45-year-old Styrian. Both drivers had to be taken to the regional hospital with indeterminate injuries. The B 97 was closed for an hour.

At midday on Friday, the rain-soaked road proved fatal for a 20-year-old man from Tamsweg. He was driving from Murau towards Sankt Georgen am Kreischberg when he skidded in the so-called "Olachgut bend". He skidded into the oncoming lane and crashed into the oncoming car of a 45-year-old man from Murau.

Both drivers sustained undetermined injuries as a result of the collision. The ambulance transported them both to Tamsweg Regional Hospital, and the Stadl an der Mur police station had to close the B 97 for an hour. The St. Georgen ob Murau and Murau volunteer fire departments were deployed.
