With the series "Welcome to Carinthia", the "Krone" once again introduces the new legionnaires of the Carinthian ice hockey clubs. VSV playmaker Chase Pearson likes to get up at 4 a.m. - and reads a book a week. His dad Scott was a real NHL warhorse. The neo-Eagle also got a taste of the best league in the world. Now he wants to make his mark in Villach.

The early bird catches the worm! Chase Pearson absolutely loves the early hours. When he's not playing ice hockey, the new VSV director goes to bed at 8 pm and gets up at 4 am. "I take a cold shower, then it's off to the gym for an hour and a half. After that, I do all my other things that need to be done."
