A scandal in Vienna's lower division: During the Oberliga A match between FC Kurd Wien and KSV Ankerbrot Monte Laa on Sunday, the referee was headbutted by an angry player. The match was stopped immediately.

With the score at 0-0 in the second half, the referee showed a red card to a player from FC Kurd. The player then stormed towards the referee and headbutted him.

Referee sends players to the dressing room
The completely perplexed referee slumped to the ground, quickly picked himself up again and sent both teams to the dressing rooms - game abandoned! It is very likely that the match will now be awarded to the team from Monte Laa.
