Police search for knife murderer in Bavaria

In Schwabach (Bavaria), a man is said to have attacked two people with a knife. A 42-year-old man was killed, his wife (40) was injured. The perpetrator is still on the run (see video above).

The police are searching for him with a helicopter, among other things. As reported by "Bild" on Monday morning, several emergency calls were received by the blue light organization at around 4.40 am. A loud argument could be heard in a street in Schwabach, Bavaria.

Lifeless man discovered
The police arrived and discovered a lifeless man (42) lying on the ground. It was too late to help him, said a spokesman. Attempts were still being made to resuscitate him.

The deceased had stab wounds to his upper body, which is why the police are assuming foul play. His wife (40) was probably also attacked by the assailant. She was taken to hospital with stab wounds to one arm.

Forensics on site
The murder weapon has not yet been found. Forensics were still being carried out on Monday morning. The police are searching for the perpetrator.
