“Queen of crooning” Elfi Graf has fallen in love again

With "Herzen haben keine Fenster", Vorarlberg-born Elfi Graf made her big breakthrough as a pop singer in 1974. After a career full of hits, things became suspiciously quiet around her. At the age of 71, she is now giving an insight into her new private life - far away from her homeland.

Around 685 kilometers lie between her home in Vorarlberg and Neuberg in Burgenland: for Elfi Graf, it was a journey to late happiness. "It was love at first sight. The country, the people and the place," says the 71-year-old enthusiastically when she talks about her new home in Burgenland.
