After a break of many years: fruit press is running again

The dry spell is over: from the fall, the newly founded St. Michael Fruit and Horticultural Association will be pressing at full speed. 

The association, led by chairman Hans Peter Zaller, has taken over the fruit press and distillery in the Höf district from the municipality. Depending on the vegetation, operations will begin around mid-September. The pressing team is waiting in the wings (by appointment only).

There are other fruit presses in Lungau in Unternberg and at the Tamsweg agricultural college.
