Urgent appeal in the fight against much more poverty

Inflation is driving many people into poverty. In times of economic uncertainty, the demand for used and affordable furniture also increases enormously. Volkshilfe is now looking for furniture that is no longer needed but still in working order to help vulnerable people in Burgenland.

Beds, tables, cupboards, chairs, sofas, sideboards and other items for kitchens, children's rooms and bedrooms are more in demand than ever. Volkshilfe's treasure troves in Burgenland are now dependent on the solidarity of the population.

Every piece counts
"Anyone who has furniture at home that is no longer needed should please donate it to us," says President Verena Dunst, encouraging active support.

We are looking for pieces of furniture in good condition. "These donations can be a great help to people in need. Every contribution is important to be able to help those affected in difficult situations," emphasizes Dunst.

Smooth process
The allocation process is very straightforward: The furniture is collected directly from the benefactors' homes. All that needs to be done is to make an appointment by calling 0676/883 508 03 or sending an e-mail ([e-mail]). The Volkshilfe president in advance: "Thank you!"
