Second doping case at the Olympic Games

The Nigerian boxer Cynthia Ogunsemilore is the second suspected case of doping at the Olympic Games in Paris. A test carried out on Thursday showed a positive result for the banned diuretic furosemide, the International Testing Agency (ITA) announced on Sunday night.

Ogunsemilore has been suspended until the conclusion of the proceedings. If found guilty, she faces a ban of up to two years.

The first positive test at the Summer Games in France was recorded by an Iraqi Juduka who, according to the ITA on Friday, was found to have used anabolic steroids.
