In addition to operettas, the delights of the Salzburg Festival naturally also include the must-go social events ... 

It's the networking event on the fringes of the Salzburg Festival. This year, former Chancellor Sebastian Kurz and entrepreneur Markus Friesacher once again invited guests to "Schinkenfleckerl und Gin-Tonic" at Café Bazar.

"We actually came up with the idea three years ago at the Alm in Grossarl. We realized that many of our mutual friends were in Salzburg during the festival season. So we just had to find a suitable location that offered the best ham dumplings," says entrepreneur Markus Friesacher.

And they have to be really good. Around 400 people accepted the invitation on Friday evening. Among the guests: fashion designer Markus Meindl with his wife Daniela, entrepreneur couple Alexander and Julia Pappas and former ski star Alexandra Meissnitzer.
