Customers at a supermarket in Stegersbach in the district of Güssing were quite astonished. After shopping in the late afternoon, a man drove away from the parking lot in a car that is not allowed on Austrian roads and would probably be better suited to the racetrack of a fast-paced crash car competition. Shortly afterwards there was a crash. 

Victims called the police
The car, covered in graffiti and slogans such as "Love", collided with another car. The accident victims immediately called the police.

The striking car of the driver involved in the accident had neither a windshield nor a hood. The car, which was not registered for traffic, had more than a dozen defects, including bald tires and broken brakes.

Impossible to continue the journey
Of course, this "crash car" did not have a license plate either. "We've never seen anything like it," remarked eyewitnesses in amazement. It was strictly forbidden to drive on.
