Projectiles stuck in cat’s head and stomach

The police in Senftenbach are on the hunt for an animal abuser. He had shot a cat twice during the night. One projectile is still lodged in the body of the animal, which was saved by emergency surgery.

The animal abuser shot the cat of a couple in Ortisei, municipality of Senftenbach, at least twice with a BB gun on the night of Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

Shot between the eyes
The perpetrator hit the cat in the face and stomach area. The bullet lodged between the eyes was removed by the vet. The bullet, which had penetrated the abdominal area, remained in the animal's body due to a complicated operation.

The crime scene is presumably in Senftenbach in the vicinity of Ortisei. There are currently no concrete clues as to the perpetrator, which is why the police are asking for information (Aurolzmünster police station, telephone number 059133-4242).
