Mineral water: special edition with Olympic stars

No stadium or sports arena will be the venue for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris. The sporting spectacle kicks off on Friday in the middle of the metropolis of millions. The tension and anticipation are high - also at a drinks manufacturer from Upper Austria.

Parallel to the Olympic Games in Paris, the Starzinger Group launched a special edition. One million one-liter returnable glass bottles of Frankenmarkter mineral water are now adorned with the likenesses of swimmers Bernhard Reitshammer and Simon Bucher.

The idea for the individual design of the labels was implemented together with the Olympic training center of the Sportland Upper Austria, reveals Starzinger Managing Director Patrick Moser. "For the sake of the environment, we are using reusable glass here," says Moser. The special edition is available in stores everywhere.

18 athletes from Upper Austria
10,500 athletes from 206 nations are taking part in the Games in Paris. Austria's squad includes 18 athletes from Upper Austria - including Bucher and Reitshammer as well as discus thrower Lukas Weißhaidinger, who many are counting on in terms of medal chances.
