Rapid and Austria present away underwear

The two traditional Viennese clubs Rapid and Austria have unveiled their new away kits.(Bild: GEPA)

White, blue and red. SK Rapid unveiled its away kit for the 2024/25 season on Tuesday. Almost at the same time, their arch-rivals from Favoriten also presented their kit for the coming season.

While Hütteldorfer will be wearing their co-club colors of blue, red and white, Vienna Austria will be hunting for away victories almost entirely in white. 

"Home in purple, away in white," is the message on the Violets' social media channels.

On sale from August 23
"Blue and black elements on the collar, sleeves and shorts are a reminder of Austria's roots. In reference to the founding date of the Vienna Cricket and Football Club, the away jersey will be available from 23 August," the club also explained its choice of colors. 

While SK Rapid will host Sturm Graz on August 4 to kick off the Bundesliga season, the Austrian team will wear the white shirts in their first match against FC Blau-Weiß Linz.
