Pastor allegedly photographed women under their skirts

The French judiciary is investigating a pastor in Alsace who allegedly photographed women under their skirts.

The newspaper "Les Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace" reported that the pastor was caught by employees of a large supermarket in Colmar when he photographed the underwear of female customers.

The priest is also said to have taken photos in another supermarket in the Alsatian city - including of minors. He is accused of serious voyeurism.

As the church announced, it initiated internal disciplinary proceedings parallel to the investigations by the public prosecutor's office. It also informed the parishes and mayors of the towns where the pastor was employed.
