There are Iranian assassination plans against Trump!

Three days after the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, the US government has revealed that there are probably Iranian assassination plans against the ex-president.

A US government representative admitted on Tuesday afternoon (local time) that the Secret Service had recently raised Trump's security level due to fears of an attack. However, the White House emphasized that no links had been established between the 20-year-old assassin and possible co-conspirators.

Iran immediately rejected the accusations. They were "unfounded" and "malicious", the Iranian UN mission said angrily. Tehran wanted to punish Trump through legal channels instead. "Trump is a criminal who must be prosecuted and punished in a court of law" - because he ordered the killing of an Iranian general.

No connection to the attack on Saturday
The television station CNN had previously reported that the USA had received indications of an Iranian plot against Trump in recent weeks. The US Secret Service and Trump's campaign team had been informed of this before last Saturday's rally, a CNN reporter reported on X, citing a US national security official. However, there was no evidence that the young man who shot and injured Trump at an election rally on Saturday was connected to the Iranian plot, CNN said.
