Floods! Premiere in Kazakhstan canceled

The Kazakhstan Grand Prix of the Motorcycle World Championship will not take place this year. The reason for this is the consequences of flooding, as announced jointly by the marketing company Dorna, the FIM and the IRTA team association. 

Logistical problems had arisen. Instead, the race will now be held at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy from September 20 to 22.

Originally, the race in Kazakhstan was to have been held in mid-June. However, the floods in the spring meant that final work on the track could not be carried out. It would have been the premiere on the new "Sokol International Racetrack".
