Japan dominates at the Bouldering World Cup in Innsbruck

Led by Sohta Amagasa, Japan celebrated a triple victory at the men's Bouldering World Cup in Innsbruck!

Meichi Narasaki and Sorato Anraku finished second and third on Friday evening in front of a sold-out crowd of 3000 spectators.

There were a total of four Japanese in the six-man final field. Tyrolean local hero Jakob Schubert had missed out on qualifying for the semi-finals on Wednesday evening.

Jessica Pilz wants to have a say again
The qualifiers and semi-finals will follow on Saturday, with the podium places up for grabs on Sunday. Alongside Schubert, Jessica Pilz also wants to have a say again. She came fifth in the bouldering competition on Thursday.
