Früchtl leaves Austria for Italy

Keeper Christian Früchtl is leaving Vienna's Austria for Serie A and joining US Lecce. After the "Krone" had already reported this on Tuesday afternoon, the club confirmed the deal a little later. 

According to "Krone" information, the transfer fee is around one million euros. The 24-year-old former Bayern goalkeeper came to Favoriten two years ago and immediately established himself as a regular. Now the German, who still had a contract with Austria until 2025, is moving on to Italy.

Samuel Sahin-Radlinger returns from Almere City in the Netherlands, where the goalkeeper was loaned by Austria a year ago, to replace Früchtl.
