Pedestrian discovers lifeless body in Lake Constance

Another body has been found in a body of water. After a man was pulled dead  from the water in the Raab (Burgenland), a lifeless body has now also been recovered from Lake Constance ...

A male body was found on Saturday in Lake Constance near the mouth of the New Rhine, but already on the German side. A police spokesman confirmed that the background and the identity of the deceased are still completely unclear. However, there may be a connection to the search operation on the banks of the Rhine in Lustenau on Friday. A passer-by had found freshly discarded clothing on the Rhine embankment. The emergency services then launched a large-scale search - but this was unsuccessful. 

Due to the location of the discovery, officers from the German water police will conduct the investigation. 

Second body pulled from the water
This is the second body to be recovered from a body of water in around 24 hours. A swimmer in Burgenland had already made a gruesome discovery on Friday afternoon. There, too, the lifeless body of a man was floating in the Raab. Here too, the identity of the victim is still unclear.
