Ms. Mireille Ribolits (52) sees everything as if it were pixelated or if a complete strip is missing from her field of vision. Often only black and white dots flicker in front of her eyes. Dizziness and severe nausea torment the patient. Here you can find out what is behind these symptoms.

The visual disturbances first appeared at the end of the 1990s. At that time, however, the patient did not receive a real diagnosis. Initially, it was believed that a mental illness was behind the condition and she was sent to a psychiatrist. In her desperation, Mrs. Ribolits consulted many doctors. But it was only after ten years that she found out what illness she was actually suffering from.
