Homeless people: How can the situation be improved?

You see them in every big city, but they can also be found in villages and small towns: homeless people. They are left without a home in all weathers. Around 20,000 homeless people were registered in Austria in 2021. Whether young or older people, they all find themselves in this situation for different reasons. How do you assess the current situation regarding homeless people in our country? 

The most common causes of (temporary) homelessness include unemployment, family or relationship problems and physical and mental illness. These factors often cause a veritable spiral of instability that can drive people of both sexes into homelessness.
