Chihuahua “kidnapped” from ex-girlfriend’s apartment

The "kidnapping" of a Chihuahua (symbolic photo) almost ended in an unconditional prison sentence for a 53-year-old man.

Serious accusation against a 53-year-old Tyrolean man in court on Thursday! The man allegedly stole not only a toaster, but also a cute little dog from his ex-girlfriend's apartment.

Because a short-term relationship broke up, a Chihuahua had to suffer! "The guy was just so pushy that I'd had enough," said a Tyrolean woman, explaining why she dumped a 53-year-old after a month.

Apparently the accused had had enough too: he took a toaster from his ex's apartment and also took the four-legged friend with him.

Scraped past unconditional imprisonment
"The toaster was mine," said the man. He had only wanted to take the dog for a walk because the "fine lady had been at the disco all night". But instead of going for a walk in Innsbruck, the 53-year-old drove to Ötztal, 50 kilometers away.

"He got out with me there". Days later, the dog was found - "severely traumatized" according to the owner. Non-appealable sentence: eight months conditional imprisonment.
