Worker (53) cuts his leg with a chainsaw

Serious accident at work in Freistadt (Upper Austria): A 53-year-old worker cut his leg with a chainsaw on a construction site. The man probably slipped while cutting boards with the saw.

The accident happened on Tuesday at around 2 p.m. on a construction site in Freistadt in the Mühlviertel. The worker (53) from the Wolfsberg district in Carinthia wanted to cut boards with a chainsaw but slipped, according to the police.

As a result, the 53-year-old cut his leg with the chainsaw. The Carinthian was immediately taken to Freistadt Hospital.
