8-minute hat-trick from Sörloth for Villarreal!

With an eight-minute hat-trick and a total of four goals, Alexander Sörloth has snatched victory from the jaws of victory for Spanish soccer champions Real Madrid! 

Thanks to the Norwegian attacker, Villarreal came from 4:4 down at the break to draw 4:4 at home to the Champions League finalists in the Primera División on Sunday. However, the eighth-placed side would have needed a win to have any chance of qualifying for the Conference League in the final round.

The Madrilenians, who only had regulars Toni Kroos, Jude Bellingham, Thibaut Courtois and Vinicius Junior on the bench ahead of the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund in London on June 1, had already led 4-1 with goals from Arda Güler (14, 45+2), Joselu (30) and Lucas Vazquez (40) and Sörloth (39).

After the restart, however, the Norwegian's big show began. With his goals in the 48th, 52nd and 56th minutes, the Norwegian international saved the hosts a draw in the style of his compatriot Erling Haaland.
