Two girls injured in moped crash

Following a moped accident in Kufstein on Thursday evening, the Tyrolean police are looking for the driver of a car that caused the rider of the two-wheeler to fall. The teenager and her passenger were injured.

The 15-year-old was riding from the Oskar-Pirlo-Straße traffic circle towards the Rosenheimer Straße traffic circle at around 8.30 p.m. on Thursday. Her passenger of the same age was sitting on the pillion. A white car with a German license plate was driving directly in front of the moped. The car suddenly braked abruptly.

The moped rider also braked, but lost control of her vehicle and crashed. She and her passenger sustained injuries. The ambulance took the two 15-year-olds to Kufstein Hospital. 

The police are now asking the driver of the white car to come forward. Information from witnesses is also requested. Kufstein police station: 059133 7210
