While we spend more and more time exploring digital spaces, more and more native plants are disappearing in the outside world - often quietly and secretly. Burgenland-based photo artist Michaela Putz explores the interaction between memory, technology and nature.

Then enjoy this good fortune while you still can! 1,274 species of the 3,460 ferns and flowering plants that are an integral part of Austria's flora and fauna are already on the Federal Environment Agency's Red List. 66 species have already disappeared and 235 species are threatened with extinction. In addition, a further 973 species are considered endangered.
