Sexual violence! 138 million dollars for victims of Nassar

The US government has announced that it will pay almost 139 million US dollars (130.74 million euros) to more than 100 former gymnasts who were victims of sexual assault by former national team doctor Larry Nassar! 

Nassar is currently serving a life sentence after being convicted of decades of sexual violence in 2017 and 2018.

The compensation promised by the government is in response to complaints from numerous victims who accused the FBI of failing to conduct an "adequate investigation", the Justice Department said.
