The Hypo volleyball team is on the fast track to its twelfth championship title. The star team from Innsbruck beat Hartberg 3:0 in 73 minutes in the second final match. Manager Hannes Kronthaler now expects a quick title win thanks to a 2:0 lead in the best-of-7 series.
"I liked the game. That's how I see my team. Now everyone understands why I was annoyed on Wednesday," laughed Hypo manager Hannes Kronthaler after the 3:0 win in the second game of the best-of-7 final series against Hartberg.
"He played the Styrians dizzy"
Four days after the 3:2 nail-biting win, the Tyrolean star team crushed the Styrian underdogs in just 73 minutes on Sunday. "The big difference was Nicola Salsi, he played the Styrians dizzy," said the Tyrolean volleyball maestro, praising the Italian two-man serve. Serbian Milan Jovanovic is therefore likely to remain on the bench as a one-man playmaker.
If we show a concentrated performance, Hartberg won't stand a chance. We want to win the third game at home on Wednesday.

Hartberg not yet admitting defeat
However, the Styrian underdog does not want to admit defeat just yet despite being 2-0 down in the series. "We will learn our lessons from this game," said Hartberg coach Markus Hirczy, who wants to win at least one match in the final series.
