Frustrated Klopp is caustic: “I’m not stupid”

Jürgen Klopp's anger was clearly written on his face after Liverpool's 1-0 defeat to Oliver Glasner's Crystal Palace. When asked about the Premier League title fight, the coach reacted snippily (see video).

"Of course you have to ask what that means for the title race. I'm not stupid, I know that," said Klopp at the post-match press conference. "The answer is quite simple: if we play like we did in the first half, why should we win the league?"

The defeat means Liverpool are now two points behind leaders Manchester City, although Klopp's side were also beaten by Arsenal on Sunday. The Gunners conceded a 2-0 home defeat against Aston Villa.
