Accident involving a bus, a fire engine and a car
A traffic accident involving a bus, a fire engine and a car occurred in Vienna-Favoriten on Tuesday. Four people were injured.
At 11 a.m. on Tuesday, a traffic accident occurred on Raxstraße involving a vehicle from the Vienna Fire Department, a public bus and a car.
According to the current state of the investigation, the driver of the fire department truck may have turned right onto Raxstraße from Laxenburger Straße during an emergency drive. This resulted in a collision with a traffic sign, whereupon the truck collided with a car driving on Raxstraße and then crashed into a stopped bus.
Four injured and traffic jam
Two firefighters, the driver of the car and a passenger on the bus were injured in the accident. The Vienna Emergency Medical Services provided emergency medical care for the injured and took them to nearby hospitals.
During the accident investigation, traffic was blocked and there were considerable traffic obstructions.
