Scary moments for Muharem Huskovic: The Austria Vienna kicker was the victim of a mugging on Monday evening and suffered a fractured nasal bone. 

As the club reported in a press release, the 21-year-old was attacked by an unknown person in front of an ATM on Dresdner Straße in Vienna's 20th district. According to "Krone" information, the person allegedly asked Huskovic to withdraw a sum of money. But the purple-haired youngster refused and received several blows to the face. 

On Monday evening, Huskovic was examined at the AKH and subsequently also by team doctor Dr. Marcus Hofbauer; a multiple nasal bone fracture was diagnosed, an operation is - as of now - not necessary.

Special mask 
Huskovic is expected to be able to return to training on Wednesday with a special mask and could also be an option for the squad for the upcoming away game against Wolfsberger AC (Saturday, 5pm/ live on sportkrone.at ticker), according to the Austria press release. 

Violet unlucky bird
Huskovic was involved in a serious accident in October 2022. In a collision on the south-east highway (A3) near Pottendorf (district of Baden), the car in which the footballer was a passenger burst into flames. However, the then 19-year-old had all the guardian angels in the world on his side. He only suffered a torn right posterior cruciate ligament as a result of the terrible crash.
