Man (25) fell into the depths after visiting a restaurant – dead
A terrible accident on Wednesday night in St. Anton am Arlberg! A 25-year-old Norwegian had probably climbed over a wall after a visit and fell around 50 meters over rocky terrain. He was found on Wednesday afternoon. The investigation is ongoing.
The 25-year-old visited a pub in St. Anton with colleagues on Tuesday. While his companions left the pub at around 6 pm, the man is believed to have stayed behind.
Man found dead
Hours later, the terrible discovery: at around 1.20 pm, the body of the 25-year-old was discovered below the pub in the area of blue piste 50 in the St. Anton ski area.
According to initial investigations, the Norwegian may have climbed over a wall on the east side of the pub that was around 50 centimetres wide and one meter high. He then fell over an approximately 50-metre drop and rocky terrain. He suffered fatal injuries.
