Over the Easter weekend, the police in Vienna once again carried out more traffic checks. 32 drivers had to surrender their driver's license.

In the process, 8681 speeding violations were punished and 31 drink-drivers and 22 drug drivers were taken off the road, 32 of whom had their driving licenses confiscated on the spot.
