"Difficult for me"
Sebastian Vettel comments on the Horner case
Former Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel has now also spoken out in the Christian Horner case. The 36-year-old, who celebrated four world championship titles with the Briton, wants more transparency.
Background: Horner had been accused of transgressive behavior, allegedly sending inappropriate messages to a female employee. Following an internal investigation, the Bulls' team boss was acquitted, although little information was made public. A circumstance that Vettel criticizes.
"I know the team, Christian and Helmut Marko very well from my time, but it's very difficult for me to have an opinion because I don't know what happened and what didn't," the German told the Spanish newspaper Marca. Vettel would like to see more transparency, "but I hope that time will clarify everything."
"No reason" for Verstappen transfer
The long-time Red Bull driver also commented on the rumors surrounding Max Verstappen. Vettel could not imagine that the reigning world champion would actually change racing teams. "Of course there are a lot of concerns at the moment, but I think from a sporting point of view there is no reason for him to think about anything other than Red Bull."
