Tough fate: everyone wants to help the family

A happy Easter surprise that gives hope: many Burgenlanders show their big hearts so that an accident victim from the district of Neusiedl am See can cope better with his difficult life in the future. His fate triggered a wave of willingness to help. 

This tragic fate is very close to many people's hearts: Markus Denk from Andau had a serious accident last year. Since then, the father of the family has been dependent on a wheelchair and has not really been able to be at home yet. The house has to be professionally converted so that he can be with his wife and son again.

Great commitment
The wave of helpfulness that is sweeping the country to support the long-suffering family with this costly project is a source of comfort. In the service of the good cause, big-hearted friends keep organizing charity events for Markus Denk, such as a convivial Sautanz. Many donations have already been collected.

"Thank you very much"
Before Easter Sunday, the President of Volkshilfe, Verena Dunst, paid a visit to the family and did her bit. A cheque for more than 13,500 euros was handed over.

The family was very touched by so much willingness to help: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone once again."
