Kate's cancer diagnosis
Prince William feels “helpless and scared”
Prince William (41) is reportedly finding it difficult to keep calm and carry on in the face of Princess Kate's (42) cancer diagnosis.
According to Us Weekly, the Prince of Wales feels "helpless and scared" while the Princess of Wales is being treated.
William spends a lot of time with the children
He has reportedly asked other members of the royal family to fulfill his public duties so he can stay at home with Kate and their children Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5). "They know their mother is ill and trying to recover," a source told Us Weekly.
The insider continued: "William is trying to be there for Kate and help where he can. He does schoolwork with the children and spends time with them in the afternoons and evenings." Kate also worries a lot about the three children: "She gets tired quickly, but she tries to spend as much time as possible with her children."
William is a "source of reassurance" for Kate
After weeks of speculation about the princess's health, she announced on Friday via video that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
"This was of course a huge shock and William and I have done everything we can to process and manage the matter privately on behalf of our young family," she said in the revelation. Kate described her husband as a "great source of comfort and reassurance".
Boyfriend shares unseen Kate photo
Following her shock revelation, the Princess of Wales was inundated with get-well wishes. Even days after her statement, the Princess continues to receive kind messages. Now a very special person has shared a previously unpublished photo of Kate.
Martin Kemp, a good friend of the Princess, shared a previously unseen photo of Kate on Instagram and wrote: "Sending lots of Kemp love to the Princess of Wales and all her family." It shows a beaming Catherine in everyday clothes, a cozy white and blue patterned turtleneck sweater and a plush black jacket over it.
