300 euros owed in a sex club as a motive for murder? "I'll pay today", the suspect promised a brothel manager before he allegedly pumped, beat and robbed the Lambach innkeeper Josef Muhr (68). However, €200 in loot was not enough to satisfy his creditors.

The arrested excavator driver Jürgen H. (38) from Stadl-Paura is presumed innocent. "No, he didn't do that," says the partner of the divorced family man, even though he already has a dead man on his conscience indirectly: The notorious burglar had given a captured revolver to an 18-year-old apprentice, with which the lad shot himself playing "Russian roulette".

Inmate denies
But the inmate is now denying the robbery-murder, although witnesses, traces of the crime scene and a whole chain of evidence incriminate him: H. had been called on Friday by the landlady of "Club 15" and asked to pay his debt for the night and sex. He apparently wanted to borrow the 300 euros from his father's friend, who often lent money. But Muhr was tight-lipped this time, giving the supplicant a moral sermon: "Finally do something smart, finally look around for a smart job," the landlady Anna Sammer (76) was overheard saying before she left the two friends alone. Before the argument about money, the fight to the death began.

The victim was beaten to death with an armchair leg, the suspect only slightly injured. He threw his blood-spattered clothes into the Traun: DNA analyses are now to clarify the case.
