The new Penny store at Erzherzog-Karl-Straße 57 has opened its doors and promises the usual great shopping experience on 600 square meters. In addition to the wide range of products on offer, the store is characterized by its butchers, who are on hand to help and advise customers.

The newly opened Penny Markt store at Erzherzog-Karl-Straße 57 brings a breath of fresh air to local shopping. With a range of 1,900 products, including 200 "Ich bin Österreich" items, Penny scores highly in terms of freshness and regionality.

Expert advice and a wide range of products
Store manager Necla Yildiz, with 20 years of experience in this store, and her team focus on expert advice and a diverse product range. In addition to its own brand "Ich bin Österreich", Penny also offers organic products under "ECHT BIO!" and a fresh variety of bread, baked directly in the store. The vegan own brand "Food For Future" rounds off the innovative range.

Penny is also the only discount supermarket to have butchers on hand to advise customers and fulfill individual meat requests. The fresh pork, chicken and beef from the "Ich bin Österreich" private label comes 100% from Austria and is also slaughtered here. To counteract food waste, all cuts of meat are processed by "Nose to Tail".

Penny focuses on sustainability
In addition to freshness and variety, Penny attaches great importance to social commitment and sustainability. As a partner of the Austrian Red Cross and through the "Stöpselwald" initiative, the discount store demonstrates a sense of responsibility towards the community and the environment. The store in Erzherzog-Karl-Straße is also fully equipped with LED lighting and uses green electricity to make a contribution to climate protection. The new refrigeration technology will also enable the store to be heated entirely using waste heat from the refrigeration units.
