Couple relationships are seen as the goal in life in order to be happy. As if a life as a single person were only a second choice and not what our society considers desirable. It would be time to stop constantly judging the lives of singles, as one Krone reader put it. 

"It'll work out for you one day, the right person just has to come along" or "You're so self-confident, funny and clever. I don't understand why that doesn't work for you." Single people often hear sentences like these, which are often intended to express concern about being single.
