Honored
Decoration of Honor of the Republic to Dominic Heinzl
Both revered and feared by local society, Dominic Heinzl is now a part of it. After being awarded the Silver Medal of Honor for Services to the Republic, the presenter will soon have even bigger things to celebrate...
What do society presenter Dominic Heinzl and former "profil" editor Christian Rainer have in common? First and foremost, probably their journalistic intransigence, which has already been honored many times, but has often been feared at times. Media Minister Susanne Raab did the former at a ceremony in the Federal Chancellery.
Rainer - who handed over the sceptre in March 2023 after 25 years as editor-in-chief and publisher of the news magazine - was awarded the Grand Decoration of Honor for Services to the Republic and Heinzl the Silver Decoration of Honor for Services to the Republic. With good reason, as Raab emphasized: "All those honored have made a great contribution to our society with their tireless efforts. I would like to personally thank them for this and congratulate them warmly on all their awards."
Incidentally, we will soon be able to congratulate Dominic Heinzl again, who has just been awarded the silver medal. He will be celebrating his 60th birthday on April 6.
