British Princess Kate visited a farm store near her Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor with her husband Prince William at the weekend for the first time since her serious operation. This is a good sign that her return to the public eye is imminent, according to the British media.

Although there are no photos of the outing, witnesses report that she looked "happy and healthy".

As the British Sun reports, Princess Kate's visit to her favorite farm store showed that she is ready to return to the public eye soon.

There is speculation that she could attend Easter Sunday service with the royal family, making her first appearance in front of cameras.

"Devastated"
According to the newspaper, Kate and William had spent Saturday morning watching their children George (10), Charlotte (8) and Louis (5) at a sporting event.

The sightings of the Prince and Princess of Wales came amid wild speculation and rumors about Kate's health and whereabouts. The couple are said to be "devastated" by the sometimes very hurtful allegations circulating on social media.

The Royal Family was also recently heavily criticized for a Mother's Day picture that Princess Kate had altered with Photoshop.

"Happy and healthy"
A witness from the farm store in Windsor told The Sun: "After all the rumors that have been circulating, I was stunned to see her there. Kate was shopping with William and she looked happy and healthy."

The children were not there, "but it's a good sign that she was healthy enough to go shopping."

Kate was last seen in public on Christmas Day and has been unable to attend any official appointments since undergoing surgery in January.

Prince Louis turns six
Her only sign of life so far was the photoshopped picture of her with her three children on Mother's Day. On April 23, Kate's youngest son Louis celebrates his sixth birthday.

It is now eagerly awaited whether the Princess will, as is her tradition, post photos of the birthday boy herself online or whether she will hand over the official portrait to someone else this time.

Photo agencies had withdrawn her Mother's Day picture due to suspicions of falsification. Instagram added a warning to the photo and the news channel CNN wants to check all photos from Kensington Palace for alterations in future.
