Meeting in Los Angeles: it was the big reunion of Austrian star photographer Manfred Baumann with Hollywood warhorse and space world record holder William Shatner. 

The Viennese star photographer Manfred Baumann has had the Canadian actor William Shatner in front of his lens no less than three times. Now, during his current stay in Los Angeles, the fourth prank has taken place. And the duo and Baumann's wife Nelly let the "Krone" and ORF-Seitenblicke (from 8.05 pm, ORF 2) take part in this top meeting.

"William is extremely fit at the age of 92" the Baumanns told us about one of their favorite stars when it comes to working together in front of and behind the camera.

The man who achieved worldwide fame in his role as James T. Kirk, captain of the Starship Enterprise, showed no airs and graces. "Typical world star," Baumann laughs. He, too, has often found that the bigger the star, the easier it is to work together in direct contact.

William is extremely fit at the age of 92.

Shatner celebrates his 93rd birthday on March 22. He can celebrate it twice, because he is still the oldest person to have been in space. Not with the Enterprise, of course, but as a passenger on Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos' suborbital project.

Baumann: "I wish him many years with just as much fitness." Well then, see you at the next meeting!
