Dortmund won 3:1 against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday evening despite falling behind, allowing BVB to successfully defend fourth place in the table with a one-point lead over RB Leipzig.

Mario Götze, of all people, put Frankfurt ahead in the 13th minute in the clash with his former club. Karim Adeyemi (33') and Mats Hummels (81') turned the game around with their goals.

Emre Can, whose red card for foul play was converted into a yellow card after video evidence (87'), scored the final goal with a penalty in stoppage time (93'). Dortmund were without the suspended Marcel Sabitzer.
