The Denver Nuggets have won the rematch of last year's final series in the North American professional basketball league NBA against the Miami Heat by 100:88 (50:44). After their tenth win from the last eleven games, the NBA champions are back in first place in the Western Conference for the first time in around four months.
Denver's superstar Nikola Jokic finished with twelve points, 14 rebounds and six assists.

There was a defeat for the Toronto Raptors, who lost 104:113 to the Pistons in Detroit without the injured Jakob Pöltl from Vienna. For the Canadians, who are twelfth in the East, this means that their hopes of securing a play-in spot in the Eastern Conference are fading.
The Los Angeles Lakers around superstar LeBron James suffered a setback in the battle for a direct play-off place, losing 107-120 at the Sacramento Kings.
