Rossi loses with Minnesota after overtime

After two wins in a row, the Minnesota Wild and Marco Rossi have been beaten again in the NHL. In a 2-1 overtime loss at the Colorado Avalanche on Friday (local time), the visitors at least scored one point. Waleri Nitschuschkin scored a decisive goal for Colorado after 2:32 minutes of overtime on the power play after Wild star Kirill Kaprisow was sent to the penalty box. Rossi from Vorarlberg remained without a scoring point for the eighth game in a row.

Minnesota had traded center Connor Dewar to the Toronto Maple Leafs and winger Pat Maroon to the Boston Bruins before the game. Another forward, Brandon Duhaime, had already been traded to Colorado and had already played against his former club.

The Wild received future draft picks as well as forwards Luke Toporowski and Dmitry Ovchinnikov through the trades.
